HISTORY
BC Local, BC Proud
The prime consultant, Eddy Davis, attended Mount Royal University to obtain a Bachelor of Business and Entrepreneurship. During his time in university he worked as a business consultant with many start-up businesses and many large and well established businesses as well, helping them grow and succeed in whatever stage of the business cycle they were in. He also worked with the City of Calgary and some of the surrounding municipalities to help them develop their economic areas and policies, enticing commerce and local area investment for job creation and growth strategies. Simultaneously, Eddy worked as a Project Manager for a large production home builder in Calgary, managing 25 home projects at a time.

Following university Eddy started a successful construction company in Alberta and operated it a few years before selling it moving back to BC to start another. Living in the geographically diverse BC interior was an opportunity to work on a lot of unique residential builds, a large amount of complex subdivision development projects, several Fire Stations, and many km of water infrastructure projects. Having previously held EOCP certifications in water and wastewater systems, he has a lot of experience with pipe and road projects.

Additionally, his background in business allowed him to work with many First Nation communities and local municipalities in development of policy, Economic Development planning, and infrastructure planning.

Following the creation of a unified Building Inspector certification program by the Province of British Columbia, Eddy realized that many communities did not have access to building inspectors and decided to utilize his experience in building to become certified with the BOABC, allowing him to provide certified inspection services and code consulting services to many communities at once and fill that gap.

Many communities have hired Eddy to temporarily manage their organization, or a department within that organization, while he assists them in finding permanent personnel.

A family man with 4 kids in multiple sports, Eddy and his family take advantage of all BC has to offer and spend as much time as they can playing in the lakes and the mountains that surround them.
