Coaching for contractors who want
better profit, systems, and control.
I'm Eddy Davis. I help contractors, builders, electricians, plumbers, and trades fix estimating, job costing, operations, and sales flow — with practical, construction-specific coaching from someone who has actually run the businesses.
You're busy, but the business isn't paying you what it should.
These are the same handful of issues that keep showing up in construction companies as they grow. If more than a couple land, a diagnostic is probably the right next step.
- Revenue is up — profit isn't.
- Estimates are inconsistent or underpriced.
- Everything runs through the owner.
- Busy schedule, tight cash flow.
- Sales flow is on-and-off.
- Job costing is weak or non-existent.
- Systems are messy; growth is chaotic.
- No clear read on which jobs or crews actually make money.

What does a construction business coach actually do?
A construction business coach works directly with contractors, builders, and trades to improve the operational and financial performance of their businesses. At Tumbleweed, that means hands-on work with estimating, job costing, overhead recovery, systems, sales flow, and team structure — led by someone who has actually run construction companies, not just studied them.
Do you work with solo contractors or only larger companies?
Both. Solo operators are a common starting point — the focus is usually on pricing, job costing, and getting out of the owner-does-everything trap. The work scales up to companies with roughly 30 staff and up to about $20M in revenue.
How much does construction business coaching cost?
Fixed-fee diagnostics start at $1,500 CAD. Three-month coaching packages start at $2,400 CAD. Founding client pricing is available for the first 20 businesses. All prices are in Canadian dollars.
Do you only work with contractors in BC?
Based in Langley, BC, but coaching and diagnostics run by Zoom for clients across Canada. In-person work is available in BC where it makes sense.
What's the difference between a diagnostic and coaching?
A diagnostic is a fixed-fee, finite engagement — a focused review of your profit, systems, or sales with a written action plan you can use independently. Coaching is a 3-month minimum engagement with regular sessions and direct support between calls, focused on implementation. Most businesses start with a diagnostic.
Start with a 20-minute conversation.
A free fit call. No pitch — just a frank conversation about your business and whether a diagnostic, coaching, or something else is the right next step.
